What are we doing about inactive team rosters week to week? In the past it seemed someone would start to manage a team and then stop or would pick it up half way through the season after half the roster was in the minors or on IR. Can we set the inactive team lineup on Sunday each week? Set now and then never again? I would just like it to be fair for all instead of someone getting to roll over an inactive lineup and then at another point in the year someone would be facing a managed team. Thoughts?
I would be willing to set Vancouver's lineup on Sundays (or at least ahead of time) since they are not in my conference and I do not play them this season.

i've posted on fantrax, hfboards, and dobber- no luck so far
once it became clear that a team was gm-less i was setting lineups for them last season(tho i mighta missed a little). it's definitely a pita. wouldn't mind sharing the burden with others

My two cents: I'd prefer inactive teams to have a single lineup set with their best players and best goalie in active spots. And not toy with it from there. Each week check for injuries or other players excelling. This will reduce the variance from week to week and keep the matchups as fair as possible over the course of the season -- and also reduce the amount of work for these fine GMs doing other line changes.

So who is available? Florida, Montreal(doesn't appear to have a GM according to the board ), New York R, Minnesota(has a GM listed but the same sources that told me last week that that bum Pavelec was getting run out of Winnipeg inform me there is no GM for Minnesota and Vancouver. Depending how many chefs there are in the kitchen then possibly 1 chef or a sous chef if need be can be assigned to monitor the team for the season or until a GM is found. That way the onus does not fall entirely on one person. Some of the vacant teams may have more hand holding required than others depending on roster configuration, injuries, etc but in this way at least a reasonable representation of where they would fall in the standings can be achieved.

I agree with Chris, setting the line for the best active roster and only making changes for injuries. That greatly reduces the amount of work and makes it fair as possible.
Yes, the list is:
Florida NYR Vancouver Minnesota
If i'm missing someone please let me know. PHI GM, if you can do Vancouver, I can do Minnesota. JetsGM can you do Florida and I'll get the ChicagoGM to do NYR. (He's committed to helping out). Everyone manages someone outside their division.
