The start of the NHL season is less than a week away. Therefore, all GMs are expected to check into Pro-boards and post on the appropriate”Roll Call” post and also have their rosters with league standards by Sunday October 5th. Those standards include being under the 69 mil cap, being above the 51 mil salary floor, having no more than 25 minor league prospects (less than 110 career NHL games for skaters/55 for goalies) and fielding a complete NHL roster. Players should be at least fringe NHLers/NHL call ups or near NHL-ready prospects in your line up. If your active players are in Europe, in college or retired than you are not within standards and you will be considered tanking. So lets get it together guys and lets have a “Great Season!!!”

I posted in the other informal roll call but here is it again. Why is our salary cap (here and in league rules) set to $71M? NHL cap set at $69M this year and that's what the rules said all off-season. www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=724192"1) Salary Cap is set to equal the NHL's."

Fantrax is correct at 69 mil. In additition. I didn't mean to post a seperate roll call thread. Posting in either one is sufficient.
