Have you guys considered adding TOI as a category?
Not sure how hard it would be to do, but this would give fantasy relevence for guys like Regehr - players every NHL team needs and are worth a few million because they play all the important minutes yet generate few stats.

if thats the case i'm dropping everyone on my team for goalies. You can only have one active goalie on your roster, and would lose out on the other scoring categories - lol. Might be another scoring category to look at. Gives some more value to those stay at home D-men.

While I don't have a particularly strong opinion on this, I do have three quick comments:
1. First, to provide some context, ATOI was discussed as a statistic when we started this pool. It was ultimately decided that we didn't need to reach that far for depth players to be valued appropriately. I still hold this opinion. I do a pool with the ESPN writers every year and I finally convinced them to scrap the stupid stat so I wouldn't really want to see it pop here again! haha
2. ATOI is a "skater statistic"; that is, it doesn't apply to goalies (just as assists earned by goalies do not count in our league).
3. I'm generally against adding any new stats to a keeper pool. I have no idea how this would affect my team, personally, and that alone is reason to give me pause. When we have spent over a year tweaking our teams to maximize productivity within certain parameters, changing those parameters seriously undermines the work that we have already done. It may well benefit my team but I'm sure that it would hurt some teams, and that does not sit well with me.

Sheesh Sami, I'm glad you don't have a strong opinion on this. So why don't you tell us how you really feel :-)

No need for ATOI we already have hits, blocks, etc. to reward depth players IMO.
