We have a new rule going into effect starting this season.
Teams are required to reach a minimum number of total games played for skaters and goalies.
Skaters - 1100 gp
Goalies - 20 gp
If a team fails to reach one of those they will be assessed a penalty of 5 slots on their 1st rd pick. If they fail to reach both they will then receive a 10 slot penalty.
this is something the admins have discussed for over a year and is an attempt to set clear guidelines for the league in order to counteract the lack of line-setting by multiple GMs that has occurred over multiple seasons. It will also make it easier to perform oversight. Teams are still required to be playing their best players.
